self-service kiosk. It’s fast, easy and
convenient. Brilliant.
minuteKEY’s display screen is a graphic user interface (GUI) that guides customers through the key duplicating process. The touch screen allows customers to interact with the kiosk, choose the keys to purchase, be notified of any specials or promotions and real time updates on the progress of your key duplicating.
We use a patent-pending proprietary laser imaging system to determine the type of key and it's specific tooth profile. The unique digital image is translated into a highly accurate profile used for copying the inserted key.
Once you select your key of choice and your key has been identified, the robot arms find your new key. The key goes through our cutting robot and finishes with a brush to clean off any pieces. The kiosks uses two stepper motors to track the toolpath created from the key insertion system. This automated process creates a key with outstanding accuracy and precision.
